With the imperial globalist project caught in a crossfire between its aggression and forces of resistance, we find ourselves in a moment of both danger and opportunity. The crossfire is systemic. It therefore calls for a systemic unpacking of actors and power dynamics that fuses historical with contemporary perspectives. This talk answers this call by using the prism of the law to reflect on three interrelated main themes. One is the act of taking, the second is capitalist private property and the third is enclosures.
