Project REACH is a CUNY-wide initiative that provides academic, social, and personal support for students on the autism spectrum and other neurodiverse students. Project REACH offers the following to registered students:
- Workshop Series on Executive Functioning, Study Skills, and Self-Advocacy
- Social Skill Development and Networking Events
- Referrals to Campus and Community Resources
- Peer Mentoring

This essential workshop helped participants take control of their schedules! We shared proven techniques to organize tasks effectively and strategies to prioritize and manage deadlines. It offered valuable tips for students juggling multiple commitments who wanted to build stronger organizational habits.
Addressing the common issue of pre-exam nerves, this workshop created a supportive environment for students. We focused on teaching practical strategies to manage anxiety, utilizing relaxation techniques for better focus, and exploring methods to prepare effectively and increase self-confidence. Information about resources available through Accessibility Services was also provided.
This session was designed to equip CUNY LEADS students with the skills needed for successful career outcomes. The workshop focused on key areas, including:
- Resume and Interview Preparation: Learning how to craft a strong, professional resume and practicing effective interview techniques.
- Internship Preparation: Receiving guidance on finding, applying for, and succeeding in internships.
- Job Search and Placement: Getting personalized support in exploring career opportunities and securing meaningful employment after graduation.
Additionally, students gained access to the CSM (Career Services Management) platform to manage their ongoing career development activities.
