The Office of the Provost serves as the central hub for John Jay's academic programs and operations. Led by the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, we oversee academic policy development, program planning & review, chair matters & faculty recruitment. Our aim is to advance academic excellence, foster student success & create a vibrant learning environment.

As provost and chief academic officer, it is my goal to ensure we achieve our mission to educate for justice and advance the knowledge that builds and sustains just societies. I am proud to serve our distinguished and innovative faculty, to foster their exciting teaching and research and to safeguard a foundational education that increases diversity in the workplace and advances justice everywhere for our deserving students.
