The Provost’s Office, led by the Provost & Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, guides John Jay College’s academic strategy and operations. We oversee policy development, program reviews, faculty recruitment, and provide leadership support across academic departments. Our mission is to promote academic excellence, support student achievement, and cultivate an inclusive, dynamic learning environment.

As provost and chief academic officer, it is my goal to ensure we achieve our mission to educate for justice and advance the knowledge that builds and sustains just societies. I am proud to serve our distinguished and innovative faculty, to foster their exciting teaching and research and to safeguard a foundational education that increases diversity in the workplace and advances justice everywhere for our deserving students.
